The day before yesterday, I went out and bought a new radiator for my car. The next day, I took the opportunity when there is no work and started working. First thing in the morning, I bought myself some food and drinks and then I started fixing the radiator in my car.

Before I fixed the radiator, I had to get rid of all the dirt which is composed of mud and sand on my car’s undercarriage. So, before fixing the radiator, I took time to clean it first. It shouldn’t take long since there are not many things under the car.

The next task was to remove the screws which hold the radiator and to take it out. After removing the screws, I took a cloth and started wiping off any dirt on the radiator. It is true that there was not much dirt but since there were some, I had to remove them all before putting in my new one.

While cleaning it, I noticed that the bottom of the radiator was corroded. I had to take sandpaper and sand it so that the bottom would have a fresh layer of metal. It wouldn’t be good if water was able to seep through to the bottom of the radiator since corrosion can reduce its lifespan.

All this is a clear indication that there’s a lot of work involved in replacing the radiator. So the time it takes can vary depending on the real-time conditions.
