Pommel unscrew Remove the battery/amplifier. 5/64 “Remove the golden yellow component by unscrewing the two screws. After removing it, a pin is revealed. Have been using a punch instrument to fully remove this pin. A thin plastic strip is located on the rear of a lightsaber, 180 degrees from the pin you just removed. You must delete this. Look inside of the hilt to identify which strip you want to remove, then carefully pry up this thin plastic strip.

After removing the plastic strip, are using the punch tool and fully remove the second pin. The hilt’s bottom outer shell may now slide. Gently detach the red wire’s tip from the hilt. Remove this lower hilt portion. Each silver point has a tiny nub cemented into a hole inside this hilt. I couldn’t get the nubs out of another hilt hole for almost all of the silver bits on my red wire, therefore I sliced the wire-free.

Unscrew the tiny screws on each side of the hilt. Remove both screws using a flathead screwdriver. Remove both cross guard emitters’ blade blades immediately. Each emitter has a long pin on top. Use a punch removal tool for each pin from the emitter. These cross guard emitters/blades may now be carefully removed first from the main hilt (careful not to tear the wires).

Remove the metal emitted from the blade. Slide each crossguard’s plastic blade tube off. With the side LED casings the blade diffusion materials are removed, each side LED star is revealed. The saber’s cutaway internal components all are one piece of plastic. Grab this protruding plastic part on the right and pull the cutaway portion out. This exposed portion has a lengthy pin in the middle. Push it through to the hilt and off the rear case with a punch tool. Now that the front end of something like the red wire seems visible, you may remove it completely. Under the pushed-off case is another pin with only a wider end lip. Grab every pin by both the lip with pliers. Now remove the outside hilt portion. Cut the side LED cables. Raise the black switch connecter:

The top outer shell may now be removed over the blade. The black case is held together by two screws. Remove two screws using a Phillips screwdriver. A pin inside the black shell near the blade. Push it through with a punch tool, enabling the black shell to split. Remove those electronics and set aside the non-switch portion of the black case. The blade has a tiny pin. Pull it out with pliers. Disassemble the blade case now. Make a deep cut at the soundboard. You have now dismantled my Kylo Ren Force FX Lightsaber. Now for the conversion!

The switch leads should be resoldered and heat shrunk since mine was brittle and loose.
