How to tell if the issue is with the leggings’ fit or your body.

First, try your workout leggings on with the outfit you intend to wear them with. If they stay up, without squeezing or discomfort, then you probably just need a smaller size. If the waistband of the leggings stays up and doesn’t dig in, but keeps rolling down as you move around, it’s likely that the fabric is too big.

Leaks and transparency are both problems that could be caused by leggings that don’t fit properly. The fabric might not stretch where it should or the crotch area might be hanging out too much which could result in “leaks” or see-through areas on the legging.

Leggings should hug your body tightly, but not squeeze your body so much that it interferes with blood flow and breathing. Test the leggings by sitting, standing, and bending over to see how they feel. Don’t wear them if they hurt or restrict movement at all.

If you try on a pair of workout pants and you’re having trouble keeping them up, don’t just buy them anyway. Leggings that won’t stay up while you’re walking around are just plain unsafe, not to mention really annoying. Don’t waste your money on leggings that won’t stay up; buy a pair of workout pants (or two) that will.

Remember, women’s exercise clothing is usually designed to fit snugly to support and stabilize muscles as you exercise. It should not be uncomfortable or restrictive to your movements. If your leggings are constantly falling down, you’re not wearing the right size.

We can conclude that it isn’t because of their lack of elasticity, you should buy a smaller size. You should check your leggings if they are too big or small for your body type, if they are too tight around the waistband it will cause them to fall down while you work out, this is not safe and can be quite annoying when working out.
