A smaller car’s engine should weigh around 350 pounds, or 160 kilograms, on average. A large truck, including a huge SUV, might carry a 600-pound motor. It’s the same as 272 kilograms. This weight will, of course, fluctuate. Power is provided by a hybrid engine/battery in some vehicles. Because of this, the car may weigh more overall, even if the engine will weigh less. Batteries are somewhat cumbersome. 

The weight of the engine will be somewhat increased by the use of gasoline. But only in a minor way. The gas tank, not the engine, is where gasoline is stored.
