There are a few different ways that you can reset your BMW 328i computer. One is to use the built-in reset procedure, and the other is to use a software reset tool.
The built-in reset procedure is easy to do, and all you need is a paper clip. First, turn off your car and pop the hood. Then, locate the small hole near the fuses that are labeled “OBD”. Use the paper clip to insert into this hole and hold it down for about five seconds. After you’ve done this, restart your car and see if the problem has been resolved.
