Bary moves at Mach 8 (9,878.4 kph). This is the average speed but it can vary from one scene to the other. In episode 4×21 “Which is which” Savitar’s speed varies from Mach 10(11,566kph)to match 11 (12,088kph). In the most recent episodes, the maximum speed of Savitar has been about Mach 14.

When I look at a lot of things in The Flash, I wonder if Savitar could be from another planet. We know that speedsters can’t travel outside the star system by their own power but it doesn’t mean that other beings from other planets couldn’t do it. In episode 4×21 when Barry Allen escapes from Savitar’s lair he says “I’m going to outer space” and then we see him going into a wormhole/portal/whatever that thing was. So maybe there are aliens out there who have access to technology much more advanced than humans and they can travel to other planets.

Before we continue, I’ve to say that this is from an unconfirmed source, so please take this with a grain of salt!

We could calculate how fast a man can be going if he wants to escape from another star system, by using the formula [math]c=\frac{299,792,458}{t}[/math]. In this case [math]t=850,590[/math]. This means that it would take him at least 855 million years to arrive in another system. No one wants to wait that long so there must be some technology similar to wormholes/portals etc… This is where I think Savitar comes in. I also believe that the prophecy “one shall betray his friends and save the vilest of all” refers not only to one but two speedsters because in the same prophecy there is another speedster called “Kobra”. So I think Savitar will be betrayed by another speedster(will explain later) who will lead him to Kobra.
