Insert it right into the opening part that is right above the water tank, which is one the back of the machine. Next, you will need to pull the handle while pushing the screwdriver or pen into opening, which should be circular. Once you’ve removed it, then you can insert the handle again until it clicks in place.

Can you remove the handle on a Bissell CrossWave?

The CrossWave’s handle snaps into place with a spring-loaded button once it is inserted into the machine. The button must be pressed again in order to free the handle from the machine.
