Koalas Eating Habits

In the wild, koalas will mainly eat eucalyptus leaves. When in the winter, koalas also eat eucalyptus leaves and other plants and vegetation that they come across. When koalas are in zoos, they will eat leaves, eucalyptus, and branches that are fresh from different eucalyptus trees. Whether they are in their habit or captivity, koalas will mainly eat eucalyptus leaves. Koalas should not eat cactus because it can actually harm them.
