The batteries in your Coast LED Lenser flashlight need to be replaced if the flashlight no longer turns on. According to the Lenser flashlight model you own, you will require anywhere from one to four AA or AAA batteries to operate it. The flashlight can run for up to 64 hours on a single set of batteries before they need to be replaced. An LED flashlight, as opposed to a regular flashlight, is equipped with an LED light bulb, which produces a brighter light and has a longer life span.

1. Twist the top half of the Coast LED Lenser flashlight until it comes away from the handle.

2. The battery or batteries can be removed from the housing unit by tilting the handle inward.

3. Insert the fresh batteries into the handle so that the negative (-) side of the batteries is facing down.

4. Screw the top half of the flashlight back onto the handle to reattach it to the rest of the flashlight.

How to Insert Batteries Into a Flashlight:

1. Rotate the tail cap counterclockwise until it is no longer attached to the flashlight.

2. Place a new battery in such a way that the top or pointed end is facing the light.

3. Replace the tail cap by rotating it around until it comes to a stop.

The proper way to insert button batteries is as follows:

Insert your button battery into the battery compartment, making sure that the “+” side of the battery touches the “+” terminal on the battery compartment. The battery cover should be closed — either by sliding it into position or by pressing it until it snaps shut. It is kept in place by a small screw, which you may tighten with a small screwdriver after you have inserted the screw into the screw hole.
