The putty knife should be dragged across the bottom of the panels until you find the two clips holding the panel in the right position. The clips are typically located just four inches to either end of the panel. Press the clips until they release. After the clips are released, lift the top of the panel and then utilize the supports to hold it in place. Examine the inside of the dryer just behind it, and see what appears to be an oval metal pan. The metal dish is basically the chassis for the dryer’s heat source.
