Tap Water โ€“ Although tap water is purified, it may contain trace amounts of minerals, impurities, and water treatment additives.

Distilled Water โ€“ Distilled water is subject to a distillation process, which removes all impurities and minerals.

Filtered Water โ€“ Purified water from your tap or faucet is not as pure, but it does contain fewer impurities than tap water.

We recommend that you use bottled or tap water. The natural minerals in the water allow oil to adhere to particles and disperse into the air. The mist output can also be affected by water temperature. Warmer water creates more mist, while cold water inhibits ultrasonic vibrations and produces less mist.
